For the spicy individual. Sparkler White Tip Radish grows 4.5 cm (1 3/4") nearly round scarlet roots with white tips. These crisp radish snap with a delightful peppery flavor for spice-craving tastebuds. This cool weather crop is also an excellent keeper.

The piemaker?s favorite. Sweet-flavor with thick, meaty flesh. Small seed cavity enclosed in orange, fine-textured flesh. Mature size: 15 to 20 cm (6-8"). From late summer on, remove any blossoms or new fruit to enhance growth on fruit that is already formed. Harvest when fully mature. Allow to stand in garden a few days until skin hardens, then store in a cool, dry place. Freezes very well. Used as decorative center pieces.

An All-American Selection! Cherry Belle Radish is a very popular and quick growing variety. Its round, bright red fruit resembles a cherry at 2 cm (3 /4") in size. While red on the outside, the inside has crisp, white, solid flesh. This cool weather crop even holds its mild flavor in the refrigerator.

These 13 to 15 cm (5-6") long hot peppers can be eaten while green or red. Peppers need a warm soil and night temperature to prosper. Location should be sheltered from the wind and soil should be kept reasonably moist.

Golden California Wonder is a a favorite home garden pepper variety. This delightful pepper adds a sweet taste and a bright golden color to dishes. * after transplanting to garden

Bright green to red coloring. This 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4") fruit is large and bell-shaped. Texture is crisp and crunchy. Excellent for stuffing. Great raw and for all types of cooking. Peppers can be harvested when green or later, as they mature to red.

This crisp and flavorful snap pea produces heavy yields of stringless, sweet pods. Compact plants need minimal support. Resistant to powdery mildew. Use as a shelling pea or eat pods whole.

Very heavy yields with outstanding flavor. Long 10 cm (4") pods (with up to 11 peas per pod) are borne in pairs on top of the vines making picking a snap. Vines are very vigorous and disease resistant and will require some support. Successive sowings every two weeks until early June will prolong the harvest season.

Evergreen Bunching Onions produce slender, delicately flavored stems and juicy green tops. Enjoy fresh in salads, soups, salsa, pesto, and much more. Planting Instructions: Seeds can be started indoors 8-10 weeks early and transplanted outside in early spring. Otherwise, direct seed as soon as the soil can be worked in spring.

Aromatic and sweet with thick deep-orange flesh. Produces nearly round fruit 16.5 x 14 cm (6 1/2 x 5 1/2") in diameter and 1.6 -2 kg (3 1/2 -4 1/2 lbs). A vigorous, very productive grower that is blight resistant.

Imperator carrots have straight, smooth roots. The long roots average about 25 cm (10”) long when fully mature with firm flesh and excellent flavor. Perfect for fresh salads or as a cooked vegetable.

Siberian Kale is a hardy and fast growing variety that originates in Russia. Huge, blue-green, slightly curled leaves have a mildly sweet flavour. The non-heading plants spread 30-40 cm (12-16”) and provide a bountiful crop. Baby leaves can be harvested in as soon as 25 days.

Romaine Lettuce develops elongated heads with long, ribbed leaves. The coarse outer leaves of this cool weather crop are a dark green, while the inner leaves are a lighter green. This Romaine variety is of splendid quality for Caesar salad.

Dense fine foliage, closely curled, very dark green. Excellent for flavoring soups, salads, stews or as a garnish and very good for freezing. Prefers partial shade.
