$9.99
Common Name: Autumn Stonecrop This late season bloomer can be admired for its strictly upright habit of dark black-purple, semi-glossy succulent leaves. Small clusters of light mauve pink flowers are produced on deep red stems, the perfect accent color to the darkly colored foliage. Flowers are produced on the top half of this tall Stonecrop, with no lodging. With a narrow base and a vase-like habit, this perennial combines well with shorter companions in a limited space. Tall, upright sedums form substantial clumps of foliage which can be substituted for shrubs in the landscape. Their stout, sturdy stems support the massive flower heads which develop in summer and burst into bloom in fall. If left standing, they provide winter interest and food for birds.
