Dwarf cedar with a symmetrical, pyramidal habit, and glossy, bright green foliage in flat, lacy sprays. Excellent as a small scale, formal hedge. Unsurpassed as a holiday ornamental centerpiece. ‘Emerald Petite’ is much smaller than its parent, with lacy foliage that is fuller and more densely packed. As with all Thuja, plant ‘Emerald Petite’ in full sun, in acidic, alkaline or neutral soil that is moist, but well drained.

Golden Mop Falsecypress will grow to be about 4' feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 3 feet. It tends to fill out right to the ground and therefore doesn't necessarily require facer plants in front, and is suitable for planting under power lines. It grows at a slow rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for 50 years or more.
This shrub does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. It is not particular as to soil type, but has a definite preference for acidic soils. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Consider applying a thick mulch around the root zone in winter to protect it in exposed locations or colder microclimates. This is a selected variety of a species not originally from North America.
Pinus flexilis 'Vanderwolf's Pyramid' Pine 3-4' 10 Gal
Mature sizes is 6m tall by only 2m width. This is a form of pine tree with an upright, conical shape and a strong central leader. Unlike most pines, the silvery blue-green needles are soft and closely spaced. Branches are flexible and interestingly twisted with an open habit when young which becomes bushier with age, generally growing faster in height than width. This variety likes well drained soil and is a good choice for hot, dry areas.
